Douglas will be discussing and demonstrating a variety of his flutes at our shop from 4pm to 5:30pm with a Beginner's Flute Workshop to follow from 5:30pm to 6:30pm.

Participants must have their own Key of A 6-hole Native American Flute to participate in the workshop. The cost for the workshop is FREE WITH PURCHASE of any Thunder Horse Key of A flute. We highly recommend the Brown County Backpacker or Little Bear Flutes which cost only $89+tax. For folks who already have a Key of A flute from a different builder, workshop cost will be $20.

Pre-registration and Pre-payment are required for the Flute Workshop. Contact us at Weed Patch Music Company to purchase your flute and/or register for this great workshop! You can reach us by phone at 812-200-3300 or by email at weedpatchmusiccompany@gmail.com

Douglas Thunder Horse is a multi–national award-winning performer, recording artist, and flute builder. As an adopted Apache, he learned his craft from an elder who taught flute making. Each instrument that Douglas makes has been handcrafted and inspired by the flutes of the First People, bringing to life the spirit of the wood. Douglas spends his days' building, recording, and teaching at his studio in Greensburg, Indiana.
