/COMPLETE BEGINNER’s MANDOLIN WORKSHOP

Due to the snowstorm we got last Friday, our Complete Beginner's Mandolin Workshop was RESCHEDULED! We will still have a few spots left for this workshop - now scheduled for Friday, February 23rd from 5pm to 6pm!
Absolutely no experience is necessary for this Complete Beginner’s Mandolin Workshop. We will teach you everything you need to know to get started playing, including proper left hand technique, picking techniques and skills, beginner chords and scales, and your very first song using chords and melody.
Workshop cost is $20 if you have your own mandolin, OR borrow one from our shop for an additional $5.

BEGINNER CLAWHAMMER BANJO WORKSHOP

If you've ever been curious about playing old-time, clawhammer, and frailing banjo styles, now is your chance to try it out! This Beginner Clawhammer Banjo Workshop is made for the complete beginner - No experience necessary! This is also a great opportunity for folks with bluegrass experience to try out a new style of playing. We will cover a brief history of old-time banjo playing and styles, some differences between bluegrass vs. clawhammer, your basic "bum-ditty" strum, and how to get started using your left hand by learning a basic melody and your first three chords.
